Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern your use of virginiafamilychiropractic.com and any online services we provide. By using this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Effective June 23, 2026
1. About Us
This website is operated by Virginia Family Chiropractic & Physical Medicine ("Virginia Family Chiropractic," "we," "us," or "our"), with offices in Alexandria, Falls Church, Manassas, and Woodbridge, Virginia. References to the "Site" mean virginiafamilychiropractic.com and any related subdomains.
2. Not Medical Advice
The information on this Site - including articles, service descriptions, the neuropathy self-assessment, FAQs, and other content - is provided for general educational and informational purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Use of the Site does not create a doctor-patient relationship. Always seek the advice of a qualified healthcare provider regarding any medical condition, and never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you have read on this Site. In a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room immediately.
3. Self-Assessments and Online Tools
Self-assessment tools, including our neuropathy quiz, are educational screening aids only. They do not diagnose any condition and their results should not be interpreted as a clinical recommendation. A clinical evaluation by one of our providers - or another qualified healthcare professional - is required before any treatment plan can be developed.
4. Appointment Requests and Communications
Submitting a contact form, appointment request, or self-assessment on this Site is a request to be contacted by our team; it does not by itself confirm an appointment or guarantee acceptance as a patient. We will follow up to confirm availability, verify insurance when applicable, and complete scheduling. Please do not include sensitive medical information in free-text fields beyond what is needed to schedule.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Site to: (a) violate any applicable law or regulation; (b) impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity; (c) submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information through any form; (d) interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Site, its servers, or networks; (e) attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Site or any related systems or networks; (f) use any automated means - including robots, spiders, or scrapers - to access the Site without our prior written permission; or (g) collect or harvest information about other users.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site - including text, graphics, logos, images, photographs, videos, audio, illustrations, software, and the selection and arrangement of that content - is owned by or licensed to Virginia Family Chiropractic and is protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws. You may view and print portions of the Site for your personal, non-commercial use, provided you do not modify the content or remove any copyright or other proprietary notices. Any other use - including reproduction, modification, distribution, transmission, republication, display, or performance - requires our prior written consent.

Your interactions with third-party sites and services are governed by the policies of those third parties.
8. User Submissions and Reviews
If you submit comments, reviews, testimonials, or other content to us through the Site or third-party platforms, you grant Virginia Family Chiropractic a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, and display such content in any media for purposes related to our practice - to the extent permitted by law. You represent that any content you submit is your own, accurate, and does not infringe the rights of any third party.
9. Disclaimers
The Site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free; that defects will be corrected; or that the Site or the servers that make it available are free of viruses or other harmful components. Outcomes from chiropractic and physical-medicine care vary by patient; no specific result is promised or guaranteed.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Virginia Family Chiropractic and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages - including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses - arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Site, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including liability for professional negligence in the provision of clinical care.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Virginia Family Chiropractic and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Site in violation of these Terms; (b) your violation of any law or the rights of any third party; or (c) any content you submit to or through the Site.
12. Governing Law and Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of the Site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Fairfax County, Virginia, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective" date at the top of the page. Material changes will be reflected on this page; your continued use of the Site after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Severability and Entire Agreement
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Virginia Family Chiropractic regarding your use of the Site.
